Description:   The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Context 6594 is well fill for well in room N-W of courtyard in Byz. House. This well fill was excavated to the present level in 2008 (context 5558) but has not yet been excavated this year. Since this well cuts through all surfaces in the room it was decided to remove the fill and excavate the top portion of the well-head.
