Notes:   6.4.2012
While excavating 646 on the eastern side of the room bounded by walls 366 and 332, a lighter, harder packed material was uncovered with a smaller patch of darker black soil immediately bounding the well 671 on its north side. This black soil appeared to be cutting into the lighter, more compact soil and it was investigated in context 670 as a possible pit in the fill. On further excavation, it became apparent to pickman Thanos that this pit, in reality, extends under the lighter, more compact soil. This deposit was deemed to have been laid on 670 rather than the other way around and was assigned context 677.
