| Description: | Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey sand. | |
| Notes: | Context 6744 is a trapezoidal area of semi-compact soil with very few inclusions. It runs in a SW-NE line between NS walls 5394 and 5431. It is bordered on its North and South edges by a softer soil with more inclusions (= 6747). 6744 was a thin layer/stratum that most likely represents an area of natural accumulation within the fill. The softer soil with inclusions continued below it (= 6747). See sketch drawing in notes for context 6739 for a schematic rendering of the area, pre-excavation of 6744.
