Description:   Top slope of the context is moderate down to the N. The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   6748 was opened to clear the white clay floor and its fill in the center of the well room. The white surface is quite thin and popped off easily with Thanassis' pick to reveal a second floor surface. Close examination of broken chunks revealed at least four resurfacings. We closed this context when we came down on a second floor surface, and also a small patch of red and grey earth in the SW of the context.
