Description:   Top slope of the context is moderate down to the N. The soil color is dark pinkish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   6755 is the brown/reddish fill beneath floor 6748. Like the floor, it is cut by the pier foundation 6204 on the east and pier/wall foundation 6255 and 6274 on the west. Also, like the floor, this fill reaches wall 10087 on the east.
To the north, the relations are unclear since we are not presently excavating past the south end of wall 10095. However, it appears that this fill continues north all the way to wall 55 along the east face of wall 10095. 6755 is also cut by 6173 in the north. To the south, 6755 is cut by 6662. In the southwestern corner, 6755 seems to overlie a deposit of harder, redder soil, thus we are taking the fill of 6755 first.
We closed this context when we came down on a small ash lens and what appeared to be a padded fill beneath the floors, perhaps a trash fill.
