Notes:   We are excavating context 6811 in order to clean up the stone feature (= 6820) and see if there are additional stones within it. The excavation of 6811 will allow us to better understand the stone feature and to draw it. The soil of 6811 was loose, reddish-brown in color, and with approximately 10% inclusions of small rocks, tile, and pottery.
The excavation of 6811 has not revealed additional stones within the stone feature 6820, so it is still unclear what this feature is. It is possibly associated with a Western continuation of EW wall 6764 and is missing stones (possible robbing) at this point.
