Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Continuing in the Western Room of N Nezi (last dug season III 2009), we excavated the light pinkish brown stratum visible to the west of the structure of seven stones made visible by the excavation of 6624. Prior to excavation, we saw no clear difference between this soil and the soil "inside" the structure's two walls, but decided to take them separately in case of difference on excavation. There was a clear distinction between this layer and the dark brownish red layer to the East and South of the seven stone structure.
On excavation we revealed under 6849 a light reddish brown layer covering approximately the northern two-thirds of 6849, and a dark brownish red layer covering approximately the southern third. This latter looks like a continuation of the layer noted to the East and South of the stone structure.
