| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt. | |
| Notes: | Green team was working in the room north of the courtyard from the 3-7 of May. On the morning of 10 May 2010, Sanders advised that the number of walls in the room was making it difficult to work effectively and to move to the room northwest of the courtyard. It was decided to continue excavation of the fill inside the built pithos (also called a well in earlier context sheets) 6638, which was last excavated in June 2009 (6594). A flotation sample was taken. Measles ware pottery was apparent coming out of the dry sieve, as well as a significant amount of bone. 6877 was closed after coming down on a layer of clay. | |
