| Notes: | Brownish context with many tiles visible in it. These turned out to be broken and scattered and do not appear to represent a tile fall, but rather a tile dump. Several field stones scattered in context, similar to those of W694, could be fall? (Dimensions c. 0.17L x 0.13W x 0.12H). Cf. notes to 682. The ceramic date is slightly earlier than that for wall 694, but not by much. The NW corner of W694 overlaid 689, indicating that stratigraphically, 682 came first.
