The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is clayey silt. | | Notes: | | 6925 was revealed during excavation of 6909 and 6905 as a context distinct for its high amounts of inclusions, especially tile and boulders. The context is located in the SW part of the room NW of the courtyard in the Byzantine house, bordered by walls 10111, 5742, and 5725. Excavation proceeded, yielding a large amount of tile, pebbles, and boulders, and a little bone. Context was closed when these inclusions were no longer apparent. 6925 may be leveling fill to counteract slumping against the above-mentioned walls. | | Context Pottery: | | Fineware.
