The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | | Notes: | | 6969 was opened after excavation on the N side of the room NW of the courtyard revealed a packed earth floor. It was necessary to bring down the level of the S side of the room; we also wanted to see if this floor was present on the S side of the room. Excavation proceeded, yielding light greyish brown soil with rather typical inclusions (coarse pottery, tiles).
