| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark brownish red. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | This layer extended the entire width and length of the area bounded by the wall, tree, and foundation trenches. It contained a reasonable amount of pottery, and exposed a slightly lighter brown layer beneath it on excavation. Synchronisation error caused loss of pottery data once already read; retyped from a print screen, but some details perhaps lost. | |
