Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This Context is in the N section of the ‘pithos’ room of Room F E-half. It is bordered by the cut along the N wall to the N, Wall 20 to the E, the pithos to the W, and the bothros to the S. This context was an accumulated fill that was darker in color than the fill just above it. The purpose of this context was to try to reach a level common with that of the rest of the room. There was a significant amount of ash and some char coal concentrated mostly to the W and N/W, around the pithos. This context also yielded a fair number of bones. There was also a number of intact iron nails, and two shards of colored glass. One coin was found in the sieve. A fair amount of pottery was also found. Excavation was stopped when a floor level was reached.
