| Stratum: | 20% coarse and medium pebbles with some fine pebbles, mostly angular spherical, but some tabular. Some pottery, very few bones, and a few pieces of wall plaster. One coin from the sieve. | |
| Description: | The soil color is dark reddish black. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand. | |
| Notes: | This context is the fill of a cut (7050), which pierced a floor layer. It is located N of the bothros, and it may be a part of it. The purpose of this context was to explore the possibility that this cut is somehow related to bothros 4. The cut, however, is shallower than the bothros, and rectangular, therefore it is not related to it. At the moment it is unclear what it was used for. Perhaps, it is a robbing trench? | |
