Description:   The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   This is a cleaning of the area N of cut 272. Thanasis cleaned a small layer off of the whole area. Cleaning continued on 12 April 2012. Cleaning continued S of 272 and N of context 697. Found Coin #39 (256.55 E, 1011.77 N, 86.72 el.) during excavation just S of C 272. Cleaning exposed ashy semicircle S of C 272 against baulk, cut by C272.
