| Description: | The soil color is dark reddish brown. It is sandy silt. Structure materials: broken floor tiles and roof tiles. Material size: 0.08-0.25 in width/length, 0.03-0.045 in height. | |
| Notes: | This structure is a built tile floor in the North end of the room NE of the courtyard. Composed of rooftile and floor tile fragments, it is resting on compact soil that is also in between the tiles. We are removing this soil with the tiles down to the elevation of the lower floor. At the same elevation as the rooftiles, an earthen floor extended throughout the room, truncated by foundation trenches and bothroi. | |
