Stratum:   10% fine, medium, and coarse mostly angular spherical and tabular pebbles. A lot of tile, brick, and wall plaster.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This context was the first major excavation here since 2007, other than the small contexr in the SW 7226. It is located in Room E, abuting wall 5343 to the S, wall 5341 to the E, structure 5035 to the W, and pit 5005 to the N. After a cleaning context (7225) it was revealed that most of the room was one layer. This context is now the lates in Room E, and it is being removed so that earlier phases in this room can be explored. The inclusion were evenly spread throughout this context, and included fairly large pebbles, a good deal of painted wall plaster, and a lot of pottery. It will be interesting to compare the coresponding levels levels in Room F E-half. Since the previous context (5013) was a clay floor, it is likely that this is its leveling fill. The presence of a large amounts of roof tiles, brick, and painted wall plaster suggest that this context is redeposited builfing material.
