Title:   Removal of Clay Intruding on Black Layer
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1106
Context:   723
Page:   0
Date:   2012/04/17
Stratum:   pottery, tiles, cobbles ~30 cm, plaster, bones
Description:   The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   This is the removal of a clay layer that is intruding on a black layer to the North. We ended this context when the area of white clay was bounded by red clay to the North and South. The white area at bottom perhaps is a continuation of a robbing trench for an East - West wall, first found in context 672. Further removal of an upper clay and tile layer may provide more information (See Context 724).
