Description:   The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This is rubble fill in pit 7278 in the room NE of the courtyard. Full of stone and rooftile rubble, there is a fair amount of pottery in this deposit. N of the 1960's excavations and East of a tunnel, we do not know the original cut delineations. We are removing this rubble fill in order to gain more dating information about the floor above this.
