Description: | Top slope of the context is steep down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is steep down to the NThe soil color is dark yellowish black. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
Notes: | B72 is a cleaning basket for the section of the EW wall (cut of foundation/construction = B73) that was either severely compromised by or collapsed because its north face was exposed by the 1930's excavation trench in the Gianbourani field or/and the later growth of a tree. The tree's extensive root system burrowed into the wall between its stones. B72 confirmed that the EW wall does not run underneath the section that collapsed, therefore that section of the wall collapsed entirely. | |
