Description:   The soil color is light brownish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Rocky layer that forms the southeast corner of robbing trench of C272. Rocks were not visible until Thanasis attemped to find the eastern extent of 774. These rocks were the result of the removal of context 632 in the previous session, which itself is the undisturbed soil underneath C272. 777 then constitutes the removal of the southern portion of the eastern extent of the robbing trench for C272.
This small context involved the removal of c. 2 baskets of dirt. Very little pottery and no bone were recovered. The removal of 777 revealed the division between 774, a light black soil, and the robbing trench for C272, a yellowish black soil.
13.5.12 The pottery from this context dates to the late 11th C. The cut was called 822. The fill inside this cut, 632, dates to the mid to late 12th C. No other finds were recovered.
