Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. Bottom slope of the context is uneven down to the The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   EXCAVATION NOTES:
B77 is a stony layer cutting the northern half of the clay floor.
The boundaries of B77 were uncertain at first; they were defined during excavation of the basket.
B77 overlies the stone projecting into the side of pit cut =B71.
The deposit is softer to dig than what is around it, except for what is directly below in the northern half of the basket--this is much softer and has tiles in it, and is more orangey in color, like can be seen in the cut of pit (cut = B76). Below the southern half of the basket is a harder ridge that slopes more gradually away from the clay surface (B102 et al.).
