Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   This is a small area of blacker soil on the NW edge of 896. It may have been left over from the fill in C784, just incompletely excavated. It is very small - perhaps only one wheelbarrow of dirt. One piece bone, one piece glass, little pottery; unremarkable overall. Removed to avoid contaminating triangle excavated next as 899.
