Description:   The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is well sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context is a layer rich in big pieces of tiles W wall 540. Few pottery sherds were found in this fill, and small roots are diffuse in it.
It is interesting that this layer appears to go under Wall 540 and to continue E of it, in pink area. Yesterday at a very similar elevation the pink team identified what seems to be a roof collapse (929). We argue that 934 and 929 are actually the same context, overlaid by Wall 540. The portion immediately underneath wall 540 cannot be excavated this season.
934 came on a hard-packed brownish soil, will small rounded pebbles, and it has a flat surface, which we interpret as a floor (936).
