Description:   The soil color is light greyish white. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silt.
Notes:   After the completion of context 976, we came down upon compact yellowish brown soil (978). Within 978 was a small ashy deposit with clear boundaries that we decided to dig as a separate context (979). Small shallow pit containing very soft ashy soil, a coin (2013-4) and few sherds, some pebbles. At the bottom of the pit lay 978. The entire context will be water sieved.
