Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the SThe soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Shape: irregular - roughly circular.
Break in Slope - Top: sharp on NW side and SW side but gradual on the NE and SE sides.
Sides: vertical on the NW and SW, but concave on the NE and SE.
Break in Slope - Base: sharp on NW and SW but gradual on the NE and SE.
Floor: sloping to the W and uneven.
This cut was only recognized and the fill inside (B6) excavated after the removal of much of the plowzone deposit (B2). However, this pit must postdate the plowing activity in this field as it cuts the furrows (B22) left by the plow.
Cuts into a dark yellowish brown firm sandy silt with 20% inclusions, mainly small pebbles and tile frags.
