Lot:   Lot 2015-057
Stratum:   20% coarse pebbles, 20% cobbles, 10% carbon
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context was separated from the main fill of drain 107 because it was compact and less black. We hope to understand this cut's relationship to the drain. Large rocks were removed with the big pick. There is a lot of carbon dispersed throughout the soil. The soil is softer on the southern end. This could be evidence of its relationship to 118 and the siltiness of the drain (107).

This context was cut into bedrock on the west and south sides. Below this was a layer of soft soil with lots of carbon in it. We closed this context and began context 146 directly below it.
