Notes:   Redder and fewer inclusions than 141.
This context was opened to gain more stratigraphic control within this cut. Unlike the circular cuts nearby, this cut creates a much deeper pit than the others. The soil had very few inclusions and was finer grained than that above it. Very little material culture was unearthed - only 2 pot sherds prior to sieving. The color and content of the osil may indicate that it was redeposited bedrock. Excavation was completed at el. 80,63, meaning cut 142 has a depth of 0,52m.
