Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is stongly cemented. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes: | The excavation of deposit 199 have revealed the northern foundation trench of wall 44. In the eastern section of the fill of the foundation trench 2 pits have been identified. The fill of these 2 pits is very different in color and composition compared to the north fill of the foundation trench (D201). The fill of this pit has very few inclusions, no carbon or ash or seeds have been found, because of this no sample was taken for water sieve. Only few sherds of pottery. This pit does not seem to have a ritual purpose, or this stage of excavation is very difficult to create any interpretation of this small pit. Pit 200 and the bigger pit 203 have been down on the same plan, please see 203 plan sheet.
