Description:   The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is compact.
Notes:   This context lies along the RT for wall 38. It is stratigraphically earlier than 239 and therefore may be associated with the construction of the well or the walls or both. Like 240, this context has a linear boundary with 242 and is therefore probably later. It is possible that this is also robbing trench fill for the Greek-period walls but as it is covered by 239 that is doubtful.
