Notes:   This context is a pit located directly north of the bench and between smaller pits 277 and 276 and a larger pit 279. The soil is a fine sandy silt, soft and loosely compacted. Bedrock surrounds the pit on all side. As the pit goes down, pebble-sized angular bedrock inclusions and the amount of charcoal increases. The soil becomes looser, but maintains a similar composition as when it began. There is very little pottey or other material within the pit. The bottom of the pit revealed bedrock, see cut form 282.
