Description:   Structure materials: Unidentified stones. Material size: 0.10-20 x 0.10. Material finish: Mixed. Material construction: Unclear--see notes. Material bonding: Cement (?) mortar.
Notes:   This is the southern segment of a wall of Roman Date (our "Late Wall") built immediate inside of and against the north-south Stoa wall between Rooms 3 and 4 (STR 467). Because it remains unexcavated, this description is merely preliminary.
The cement-y plaster covering the visible face is much more well preserved than on the northern segment (STR 378). It obscures the actual stones enough that the masonry style cannot be surely determined at present, although it is presumably the same as that of the northern segment--unevenly-to-roughly coursed. Otherwise, the construction appears to be the same as STR 378.
This segment lacks the uppermost course preserved on STR 378, so its upper surface is roughly flush with the preserved Stoa wall.
