| Notes: | 14/4/16 We begin to remove the fill from the western of the two pits abutting the north wall (eastern: 376). There are a number of small roots running through this context, especially against the north wall. This pit has a different appearance from the pit directly to its east (376-fill) -- it is much more shallow and the sides slope more. There is also a lower concentration of pottery and bone. There are some large chunks of charcoal in the matrix.
