Stratum: | light reddish brown silty sand; some charcoal inclusions
Description: | Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes: | We open this context (and assign a new number) to finish removing the fill in this area, initially begun as Context 455. The fill is an orange/red brown silty sand, mostly sand, and is relatively loose, but comes off in clumps. As the excavation of 455 was arbitrary halted to remove Context 473, this context which continues it should be equated to 455. We close when the bedrock/stereo level is reached, at the same level (80.91) as that reached at the close of 473. Coin 121 was found in this layer: E 338.44, N 1085.98, H 81.05.
