Description:   The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   We open this context to excavate a small possible pit directly to the S of context 484 (but N of context 488). This pit has the same red/orange brown sandy fill, but we also find plaster traces lining the pit, as in 485, and therefore keep all the fill as a soil sample for flotation. See also cut 492.
