Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is mixed- see description.
Notes:   3/6: we prepared this context for excavation on 2/6 and have begun excavating first thing in the morning.
This context is laid on a strip of bedrock we uncovered yesterday. It also dove under the ledge of bedrock that had been the botton of cut 497.
