Notes:   8.50: This is the context created ex professo for the work of the fieldschool. Although earlier in the season I was informed that they will work on the profile created after sectioning the area, but the data acquisition up to this point has actually happened on the surface of the area left unexcavated. I will be working on the Frankish area for the rest of the day but also coming from time to time to add updates on this work. Top elevation taken from highest point of the unexcavated area.
11.27: Checking of the work of the fieldschool. It seems they have also taken some samples from the profile of the section; I ignore when I will be able to return to my work.

7.41: Work resumed in the area. We do not know how much time we have until work is interrupted again by the fieldschool. Despite given them cleaning context numbers the material from this context was mixed with the cleaning of 1R (587), so results must be discarded. Also the sample numbers bear the same context code. Judging by the tags they left the samples of the 2R go from #1 to #7.
