The soil color is dark brownish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt. | | Notes: | | We continued excavating to the west of the preserved road 226 in order to investigate the continuation of the robbing trench of the N-S wall to its south. We decided to treat the north and south fill of the robbing trench of the wall separately. 290 serves as the south fill of the robbing trench. The north fill was dug as robbing trench 287. We sectioned the robbing trench to the south in order to avoid contamination with the backfill layers to the south, which were created by Mrs. Kosmopoulos' trench, dug to Neolithic levels (pre 2nd World War) and by the 1995 excavation (NB 839). The removal of 290 revealed the continuation of the wall to the south. We decided not to invesigate the extent of the N-S wall to the south, since the work that has already been will help us date the robbing event of the wall. | | Context Pottery: | | Fineware.
