Title:   Cut for ashy pit under West wall, Room 7
Notebook:   1108
Context:   305
Date:   2014/05/16
Description:   The context shape in plan is sub-rectangular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is tapered rounded point.
Notes:   On the north and south sides of the cut, the sides are completely vertical, which came out easily in the excavation of the pit. On the east side, the cut is also rather vertical, while on the west side there is a gradual slope towards the bottom of the pit.
Above Cut 305 were Contexts 297, 301, and 304. We notices the pit because of the ashy deposit on the top, which went through deposits 297 and 301. Organic material started coming through 301, and when we reached 304, the fill was singuarly organic material and large pieces of tableware. All three deposits were considered to be one fill and some sort of burning on top of Cut 305.
