Stratum:   around 70% inclusions (mainly coarse pebbles, some angular cobbles)
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes:   Context 383 is a thin lens of softer fill covering a harder surface adjacent to the interface between Room 7 and the corridor. We are tracing this fill in an effort to better articulate it, and understand its relationship with other fills explosed in the corridor (Contexts 372 and 374). We wondered if this fill might actually be the floor surface. We are closing Contexts 383 and opening Context 386 in order to explore the harder surface below.
