Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greyish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We are tracing the compact floor surface on the SW end of the corridor, moving W to E and N to S. The matrix is comprised of sandy silt and is very compact, with a large volume of inclusions.
At the end of the removal of 386, it was clear that we came down on the same packed surface that is being seen in the W end of the corridor. The next step will be to actually trace this surface to the E, to see how far it is actually going.
