Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brownish grey. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Since discovering that the rocky deposit (context 396) was placed before the floor surface we then move to take out the floor. Due to time constraints we decide to section the floor for its partial removal. The floor runs underneath wall 135, thereofre the date of the construction of the floor will give us a terminus post quem for the construction of wall 135. The wall was set directly on top of this floor surface so we sill not find a foundation trench for it on the E side. We decide to section the floor extending W to the E face of wall 135. We begin removing this floor surface as context 401 with both large and small picks moving N from the exposure of the lower floor surface underneath the rocky deposit (context 396). We continue to reveal the lower floor surface underneath the entire sectioned area.
One clipped coin (2014-177) was found in the dry sieve. Some pottery, bone, iron and glass was collected in this context.
