Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the E. The soil color is light yellowish black. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   Context 413 is a floor in Unit 2 north of Room F, bounded by Wall 110 to the north and Wall 135 to the east. The floor is laid against the wall and runs against the surface of the lower stair at the southeast corner as so is later than all three. The floor and leveling material below it peeled cleanly from the surface below. Under the top surface of the floor were large patches of white clay fill. A clear division became visible in the surface under the floor adjacent to the pit at the west. Toward the east, vertical plaster in situ came up below the floor. Two parallel strips perpendicular to Wall 110 seem to form a bin, perhaps associated with construction of the building. The surface below the floor has many flat laid ceramic fragments embedded in it. This may represent a construction floor. This revealed surface meets the bottom of the lowest step at the southeast. A cut in this new surface is visible south of the plaster bin and extending to the scarp. This fill must have been truncated by the earlier excavations in the 1990s.
Additional Notes: This floor may represent the same surface as one excavated in 1994, NB869 B41 or B49. (RB 22/6/14)
