Description:   The soil color is light brownish brown. It is silty sand. Structure materials: limestone and mud-packing. Material size: e.g. 0.12 x 0.11 x 0.03. Material finish: unworked. Material construction: coursed.
Notes:   This is the stub wall that was laid atop Wall 510, which, along with Wall 156, comprises the S boundary of Rooms 7 and 8 of Unit 2 and forms the N boundary of the corridor N of the church nave.
This stub wall is not a true wall but a single course of unworked limsestone. We will continue to excavate beneath this wall to see whether we can find a foundation trench cutting for the wall below it, to date the wall below this one. Stub wall 436 predates Deposit Context 437 because 437 abuts 436.
