Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   This deposit is under two floor levels in the South Hall in Unit 2. It is less smoothes and has more inclusions than the floors, so it is probably a leveling fill below the floors. In the eastern section of the deposit we found a cluster of carbonized grape seeds, so we decided to collect the surrounding soil for flotation. We reveal a pit at the southwest corner of the building, round and seemingly truncated by the west and south walls. In the northern portion of the room several large stones in line came up. They seem to form a wall with the stones visible in the pit. The fill north of the stones appears darker than that south of it. We did not find any robbing trench for this wall. It seems to have been dismantled and buried. We find that the pit near the center of the room is not really a pit, but probably just an area where the floor sunk above a low spot of the wall below. North of the wall appears to be an interior space with darker fill, overlaid by wall 534.
