Title:   Skull fragments in robbing trench of wall 556
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1108
Context:   562
Date:   2014/06/17
Notes:   While excavating context 553, the robbing trench for wall 556 of room 2 unit 2 in its w portion, we removed fragments of a disarticulated skull. We are unable to suggest a body position or orientation for its original burial or to record a bottom elevation for the skull's original resting place as this skull probably was buried in unit 2 room 3, just north of wall 556 and was disturbed in the digging and filling in of the robbing trench. These skull fragments were accompanied by other human bone fragments found within this robbing trench fill (cf deposit 553). We did not take a bottom of skull measurement.
Human bones saved in Bone LOT 2014-22.
