Description:		Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:		This deposit is adjacent to context 571 and has an equal top elevation. This two deposits were distinct in their inclusions as seen from above, so were taken separately. The marble slab revealed in context 572 extends below the surface of this deposit. The fill contains a large quantity of angular cobbles, and many large fragments of tiles. In the fill we find a piece of worked marble (27x22x14cm) with a large hole (ca. 10cm diam.). This may have been a pivot hole for the reused threshold block in the doorway here. We came down on a large deposit of marble chips in the corner which we found the western edge of while excavating context 572. This probably can be associated with the building's construction, perhaps the reworking of the threshold block. The marble block with moulding came out with this deposit (N1071.94, E112.02, H84.68). Animal bones, 0.2 kg, thrown.
