| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brownish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey sand. | |
| Notes: | This is the fill of the foundation trench for N-S running wall 557, the eastern boundary of Room 2, Unit 2. In the southern portion of this trench was a small accumulation of clay (possibly the s end of hearth 581) . It appears that this foundation trench was covered by a floor (immediately covered by deposists 577 and 579) that extended west throughout the room (also comprising deposits 576 and 573 - see notes for these contexts) and covered the foundation trench for wall 559 as well, so these walls appear to be roughly contemporary. Animal bones, 0.5 kg, saved as LOT 2014-54. | |
