| Description: | Top slope of the context is uneven down to the S. The soil color is light brownish yellow. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | Excavated by Emilio Rodriguez-Alvarez. 23-04-2015 13.15: Since arrival to the site works of preparation for a new context took place. What it looked to be a straightforward removal of a burial pit turned into a more complicated task. The cleaning revealed that what was defined as a burial pit was a mixture of a brownish deposit amd the yellow compact context that was already mentioned in the excavation of context 595. It was decided then to remove it in its whole extent south of what was already defined as context 125 (see bottom plan area 1st of May 2014). The SE area of the deposit was excavated in a N-S orientation, while the rest into a E-W, following the clearest boundaries of the deposit. The context was completely removed by the end of the day. 02/06/2015 (L Kennedy): Animal bones: extremely fragmentary scraps including shell (1 limpet) and terrestrial bone, 0.16 kg, all thrown. Human: 1 distal phalanx, probable pedal 1st digit, fully formed + 1 left clavicle, infant or young subadult. Saved for now. | |
