Stratum:   Inclusions: 20% total; ceramic; stone (pebble, angular and irregular); bone; organic (roots and land snails); glass; metal.
Description:   The soil color is dark brownish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Context is deposit of differentiated dark fill E of threshold. Work proceeded from S with small pick by Tasos at a depth of 3-5cm. The soil in this deposit was darker than the red fills (contexts 69+71). Inclusions of ceramics and bone were collected along with some glass and an iron nail. A concetration of tiles and bones were uncovered to the NW of the context where the red soil of context 71 began, and were left in.
